PURPOSE: A self-adhesive type butyl synthetic rubber sheet waterproof material including waste tire polymer and a waterproof construction method using the same are provided to prevent the extension and thinning of a soft rubber sheet by strong elasticity. CONSTITUTION: A self-adhesive type butyl synthetic rubber sheet waterproof material consists of butyl rubber 20-25 weight%, polybutylene 17-19, talc 35-40 weight%, plasticizer 1-1.5 weight%, carbon black 4-6 weight%, rosin 8-9 weight%, stearic acid 0.5-1 weight%, and waste tire polymer 5-8 weight%.
