FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding said liquid medium into a reactor containing a mixed single-phase liquid mixture in which the main weight fraction is a nonsolvent and the smaller weight fraction is a solvent. The mixture has such a composition and temperature that the polymer gradually precipitates from it. The polymer is then extracted in form of particles in a suspension in a liquid which is rich in the nonsolvent. The polymer particles are separated from the liquid. The polymer is selected from polymers derived from vinyl chloride, vinylidene fluoride, vinylidene chloride, homo- or copolymers of styrene, ABS-resin, polycarbonates, homopolymers of ethylene or propylene, copolymers of ethylene and vinyl- or butyl acetate and mixtures thereof. ^ EFFECT: technique for extracting polymers from a liquid medium containing that polymer and a solvent. ^ 12 cl, 3 dwg, 2 tbl, 4 ex |
