The invention pertains to thermal power, specifically to gas exchange devices for internal combustion engines. The purpose is to increase the reliability of said gas exchange devices and to reduce operating expenses. This is achieved by the proposed gas exchange device (Fig.1) containing a combustion engine 1, an inlet valve 2 and an exhaust gas port 3. Besides, a flood gate 4, which is connected to an execution mechanism 5, is installed in the exhaust gas port 3, and the execution mechanism 5 is linked with an exhaust gas analyzer 6 and an adapter 7.
