FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: mobile station determines conditions for propagation of the first carrier frequency supported by the first adjacent cell, on the basis of information on carrier frequencies received from the basic station, which covers the cell, where the mobile station is located at the current moment of time. If conditions of the first carrier frequency propagation satisfy the pre-determined condition, then the mobile station determines conditions for propagation of the second and further frequencies supported by the first adjacent cell. If conditions of the first carrier frequency propagation do not satisfy the pre-determined condition, then the mobile station terminates determination of the propagation conditions in the first adjacent cell and changes to determination of propagation conditions for carrier frequencies in the second adjacent cell. ^ EFFECT: possibility to efficiently determine conditions of propagation in adjacent cells and realisation of transition process with simultaneous reduction of workload for detection of propagation conditions for a mobile station. ^ 4 cl, 7 dwg |
