FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elimination of defects in compressor and turbine wheels by machining. In producing said billets by milling at CNC machine tools, program failures occur that results in excessive hogging that falls out of tolerances. Hogging may occur not only on wheel blade but on other parts of integral wheel. Proposed method allows opening defective recesses on billet and welding them up. Note here that billet wall thickness under each defective recess is measured, while welding up current strength is set subject to said thickness. Note also that opening of defective recess with performed with recess surface transition radius making, at least, 4 mm. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of reclamation, efficient process, reduced amount of rejects. ^ 2 dwg |
