The invention relates to usage of solar energy for drying of food product. The technical parameters and operational possibilities of drying device are improved by providing the drying device with heat accumulator, which consists of separate elements, for example, PET bottles, filled with water. Moreover, the device is equipped with a spare heating element, for example, an electric heater, located under the drying material. The collector of solar energy is equipped with an air flow control valve, but the inflow area of warm drying air is provided with a thermometer. Besides, the drying zone is equipped with guides, onto which a movable box with the drying product is placed havingriddle-type bottom in order to ensure through-flow of warm air.
