A hook fastening comprises a plate cranked to provide an offset base with prongs which pass through spaced apertures in a back plate and are clenched under a raised portion which provides a seating for the base part of the hook. The prongs 7 of the offset base part 5 of the hook member 1 pass through spaced apertures 10 in a back plate 2 and are clenched in channels 12 which provide the seating for the base part 5. The hook member may alternatively have a single prong at each side which is clenched in an open ended channel part in the back plate. The central part of the channel may be enlarged, and the centre of the base part of the hook member may be extended to prevent the member from pivoting. |
