Disclosed is a solar cell (101) wherein a plurality of silver electrodes (7) are formed as dots which are aligned at predetermined intervals along a backside tab wire (8). The silver electrodes (7) are at a wide pitch in the central portion of a silicon substrate (1) and at a narrow pitch in the end portions of the silicon substrate (1). By arranging more silver electrodes (7) in the end portions of the silicon substrate (1) where a large stress is applied, the rigidity in the end portions is improved, thereby reducing warping and suppressing cell cracks.
