<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer configured to reduce an arrangement limit of a conveying path to convey a recording medium supplied from a paper feed section, then, to enhance a degree of freedom in design, and also, to achieve a new recording medium embodiment. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: the conveying path to convey the recording medium to a head section which performs printing; the paper feed section to hold the recording medium so that the recording medium can be supplied to the conveying path; a supporting section 41 to rotatably support the paper feed section; an electric section 42 to rotate the paper feed section 1 with respect to the supporting section 41; and a positioning means 44 to position and stop the paper feed section being rotated by the electric section 42 in a predetermined rotating position; wherein a plurality of predetermined rotating positions are set, and the paper feed section is stopped at the desired rotating position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
