<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source module capable of attaining thinning by lessening a wiring range while light guide bodies divided into a plurality of pieces are independently lit up on a side-edge type light guide plate, and an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The light source module includes a plurality of light guide bodies 21, a plurality of light sources 30 for making light incident from at least one side end face of each light guide body 21 in a longitudinal direction, a nearly rectangular light source wiring board 32 where the light sources 30 are arranged, and an LED driver circuit 40 for driving the light sources 30. The plurality of light sources 30 are respectively arranged in a straight line on the light source wiring board 32 by being divided into a plurality of LED blocks 34. A plurality of LED sub-blocks 33 wherein the plurality of light sources 30 are electrically connected in parallel with each other are formed on each LED block 34, and adjacent LED sub-blocks 33 are electrically connected in series.
