PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device with which an operator can select an applying direction of a tool position fine tuning amount from a tool length direction or a real axial direction at any timing. SOLUTION: The applying direction of the tool position fine tuning amount directed by a machining program is stored in a fine tuning amount applying mode storage part 41 by a fine tuning amount applying mode setting processing part 11, and the tool position fine tuning amount is made to apply to the direction of tool length or the real axial direction based on the applying direction of the tool position fine tuning amount stored in the fine tuning amount applying mode storage part 41.
