PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a humidifying means of a simple structure, free from clogging of a filter, and capable of supplying sufficient moisture for humidification. SOLUTION: The humidifying means includes a water supply tank 6 for storing the water for humidification, a moisture absorbing agent 13 disposed on a position not kept into contact with the water, on an upper section of the water supply tank 6, an air trunk 14 communicating the moisture absorbing agent 13 and a storage compartment 8, and a pump 15 disposed on the way of the air trunk 14, and the air passed through the moisture adsorbing material 13, and kept in a high humidity state, is guided to the storage compartment 8 through the air trunk 14.
