PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output shaft lock control device for an automatic transmission capable of adequately changing one or a plurality of speed change gears used for locking an output shaft every time a vehicle is parked. SOLUTION: The use frequency of a plurality of speed change gears used for locking an output shaft is counted for each speed change gear, and one or a plurality of speed change gears for changing a transmission state to a transmission path by a changing device for locking the output shaft are selected according to the use frequency of each of the plurality of speed change gears according to the counted use frequency. Thus, the speed change gear is changed every time a vehicle is parked, and the output shaft can be locked by adequately using not only the specific gear but also different speed change gears. Thus, only the specific gear is not collectively used during the parking lock of the vehicle. Therefore, an excessive load is hardly applied to only the specific gear, and the possibility of the considerable deterioration of the gear leading to breakage is considerably reduced.
