PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that though welding flux is requested to demonstrate its function in a wide range of temperature zone from the low temperature to the high temperature (the arc temperature of about 4,000°C), since an inoculation agent is melted and dissolved by arc heat during the welding, a plurality of inoculation agents capable of withstanding the wide temperature zone up to the max 4,000°C can not be uniformly charged into a molten metal pool. SOLUTION: In a build-up welding method in which gel-like flux is coated on a base material for welding, and the solvent of the gel-like flux is dried or burned to form solid flux, the base material for welding is subjected to build-up welding from the top of the fixed flux. Further, a neodymium magnet is arranged on a welding torch to perform the welding while applying the magnetic field thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
