PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unwanted vibration noises from occurring due to the vibration of a tongue piece part during a period of pressing operation. SOLUTION: In a push-button switch 1 comprising a stem 5 that receives the pressing operation, a rubber spring 4 driven in accordance with the pressing operation to the stem 5, a movable contact plate 3 driven by the drive of the rubber spring 4, and a case 2 including an accommodation part 21 capable of accommodating the stem 5, the rubber spring 4, and the movable contact plate 3 and a fixed contact 22 in conduction with the movable contact plate 3, the movable contact plate 3 has a tongue piece part 32 that forms a contact part with the fixed contact 22 and at the tongue piece part 32, a plurality of projecting parts 34 that project to the side in opposition to the fixed contact 22 are formed and meanwhile, a projecting part 35 that projects to the side in opposition to the rubber spring 4 is formed and notched parts 36a, 36b to prevent sticking to the rubber spring 4 are provided in a region excluding the projecting part 34 and the projecting part 35.
