THE GRINGING APPARATUS FOR OPTICS LENS HAVING MEASUREMENT TOWER

PURPOSE: A large optical lens grinding apparatus having a measurement tower is provided to precisely grind a work piece into a large optical lens by automatically controlling a turn table and a grinding tool based on measurement data. CONSTITUTION: A large optical lens grinding apparatus comprises a turn table(20), a tool transfer body, a tool transfer body rotating unit, a measurement tower(130), a CPU(Central Processing Unit), and a data input unit. The turn table, on which a work piece is fixed, is installed in a base frame(10). One end of the tool transfer body is coupled to a rotary shaft(14) of a first upper frame(11) while the other end is connected to a second upper frame, so that the tool transfer body is horizontally rotated around the rotary shaft. The tool transfer body rotating unit transfers the other end of the tool transfer body along a second upper frame and rotates the tool transfer body around the rotary shaft. The measurement tower comprises a measuring unit(131) which measures the ground state of the work piece. The CPU operates a turn table rotating unit(60), the tool transfer body rotating unit, and a tool transfer unit(90) based on input data. The data input unit inputs data about the operations of the turn table rotating unit, the tool transfer body rotating unit, and the tool transfer unit to the CPU.
