The filter i.e. Z-form filter (15), has a groove-type recess (19) arranged in the center and running in a cubical longitudinal direction, where the filter is designed as a single piece. Wedge-type sections (20, 21) are adjustable relative to each other in a Z-direction. The filter is designed such that X-rays are absorbed or weakened by the filter in dependent upon weighing of detector signals, during reconstruction or in dependent upon a weighing function during reconstruction. The filter exhibits maximum thickness of 1 to 10 cm and possesses a cuboid base form.
