Motor vehicle component (16) comprises at least one shielding element for shielding electrical, magnetic and/or electromagnetic fields, where the shielding element is formed as a micro-structured surface structure of the component, and is constructed from an individual pixel (12) of conductive, magnetic and/or magnetizable materials. An independent claim is also included for producing the motor vehicle component, comprising printing the shielding element via a printing method in the form of the individual pixel of the conductive, magnetic and/or magnetizable materials on a surface (14) of the component.
