Disclosed is a means for distinguishing between a germ cell derived from a donor (tuna) and a germ cell derived from a heterogeneous recipient fish in the tuna germ cell differentiation induction method comprising transplanting a primordial germ cell derived from tuna into an early embryo of the recipient fish. The amino acid sequence for Vasa of bluefin tuna is compared with those of other fishes (eastern little tuna, bonito, chub mackerel, southern mackerel, bullet tuna and frigate tuna), and an amino acid sequence region specific to bluefin tuna is identified. By using the amino acid sequence specific to bluefin tuna as an antigen, a monoclonal antibody capable of specifically recognizing a primordial germ cell, a spermatogonium, an oogonium or an oocyte derived from bluefin tuna can be successfully produced.
|
