APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING OUTPUT QUALITY IN INTERNET PROTOCOL TELEVISION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving an output quality in an IPTV(Internet Protocol TeleVision) is provided to reduce the channel changing time by performing the channel changing using broadcast stream stored in a buffer. CONSTITUTION: A first buffer(200) performs buffering a received broadcast stream and output the buffered broadcast stream. A queue buffer(210) buffers the broadcast stream outputted from the first buffer. A demux(220) is connected to the Queue buffer and divides the broadcast stream from the queue buffer by demultiplexing the buffered broadcast stream. A decoder(230) decodes a data outputted from the demultiplexer and changes into a broadcast data. A control unit(240) performs decoding through the demux and the decoder using a broadcast stream which is received through the first buffer.
