<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker restraining damages to a switching element and continuing heating operation even when overcurrent flows to the switching element due to pot-swinging cooking or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker includes: a first protection circuit 15 for stopping a driving circuit 18 when a detection current of a current detection circuit 14 exceeds a first threshold set beforehand; a second protection part 16b comparing a second threshold lower than the first threshold with a current detected at a certain time interval in the current detection circuit; and a control part for controlling the driving circuit so as to restrain an output current of an inverter circuit in accordance with a compared result, lowering the second threshold at a second protection means when an output of a driving signal is stopped by a first protection means, and controlling the driving circuit for the driving signal to be outputted again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
