PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily perform setting and diagnosis of an electronic device, while preventing information leakage without causing increase in power consumption, cost and processing load.

SOLUTION: A coil 2 performs information exchange with the electronic device 21, by performing electromagnetic induction coupling facing a coil 22 provided in the electronic device 21. An input portion 7 inputs information from the outside. A transmission circuit 3 transmits the information to the electronic device 21 via the coil 2. A receiving circuit 4 receives the information from the electronic device 21 via the coil 2. An output portion 8 outputs the information received by the receiving circuit 4 to the outside. A control portion 5 controls the transmitting circuit 3, the receiving circuit 4, and the output portion 8, according to the input from the input portion 7 and perform at least one of setting or diagnosis of the electronic device 21.
