<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved wall structure which can increase the rigidity of a part without forming a double wall or arranging a middle plate. <P>SOLUTION: In a silencer 2, a region small in curvature factor at a wall 4 which is formed into a cylindrical shape having an oblong cross section is made to be a polyhedral (pseudo cylindrical recessed polyhedral) region Ra. By this, the rigidity of a region small in curvature factor and low in rigidity can be raised without forming the double wall or arranging the middle plate. Furthermore, by forming a beadlike protrusion as a displacement absorption bent part for absorbing length displacement between the polyhedral region Ra and smooth regions Rb, Rc in the smooth region Rb which is adjacent to the polyhedral region Ra, axial length displacement at the processing of a polyhedron 6 is absorbed, irregular corrugation is prevented from being generated in the smooth regions Rb, Rc, and thus the rigidity is increased as a whole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
