PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange and deliver rod-like edible dough with twists applied thereto so as to intersect the forward direction of a belt conveyor at nearly right angles; and to easily change the number of twist windings applied to the edible dough. SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for reshaping the edible dough includes: the belt conveyor 2; a low-speed travelling belt 4 and a high-speed traveling belt 5 disposed parallel above the belt conveyor, in which the high-speed traveling belt 5 advances at a higher speed than that of the low-speed traveling belt; and an immobile plate 6 in sliding contact with the top surface of the belt conveyor under the high-speed traveling belt. The two traveling belts 4 and 5 are disposed so that the ends of the rod-like edible dough can be advanced in the forward direction of the belt conveyor, and are provided with a speed adjusting function of adjusting the speeds. Thereby, the speeds of the two traveling belts 4 and 5 are adjusted. One end x of the rod-like edible dough is moved between the low-speed traveling belt and the belt conveyor, and the other end y of the rod-like edible dough is moved while subjecting the end to twist turning between the high-speed traveling belt and the immobile plate.
