PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor not damaging a seal of a drive shaft of a flow control device even if eccentric force is applied on the drive shaft by fluid force acting on an inlet guide vane. SOLUTION: This centrifugal compressor includes a centrifugal impeller attached on a rotary shaft, a pair of diaphragms regulating a channel upstream of the centrifugal impeller, and a casing holding the centrifugal impeller and the diaphragms, and compresses sucked gas by rotational drive of the rotary shaft. The centrifugal compressor includes a plurality of inlet guide vanes which are disposed on a same pitch circle in the annular channel formed at a suction upstream side of the centrifugal impeller and which can oscillate severally, a first gear oscillating the inlet guide vane, a second gear transmitting oscillation drive force to the first gear through a ring gear, the drive shaft having the second gear fixed on one end and having a gear drive part driving the gear connected to the other end penetrating through the casing to the atmospheric side, and a seal part following eccentricity of the drive shaft and sealing an atmospheric side penetration part of the drive shaft.
