METHOD AND BEAUTY APPLIANCE INCREASING SKIN SURFACE MOISTURE CONTENT AND IMPROVING DERMIS MOISTURE HOLDING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method increasing skin surface moisture content and improving dermis moisture holding function thereby improving skin elasticity without generating steam or mist and to provide a beauty appliance feeding moisture to the skin. SOLUTION: Positive and negative ions generated using an ion generating means 6 are put on a low speed air flow from a blower 7 and a user is irradiated with the positive and negative ions. the concentration of the ions with which the skin surface is irradiated is increased to a value equal to or above the predetermined value thereby causing water generated by reaction of the positive and negative ions to give moistness to the skin to improve skin elasticity. Moreover, when blowing out the ions supplied from the ion generating means 6 from a blow-out port 61, the ion speed is controlled to be kept low even increasing the ion concentration.
