PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear that can be used for a long period of time by balancing a pressurized load between bearings while achieving optimization of a bearing load-capacity. SOLUTION: The reduction gear G1 includes: a reducer 121 having fixed parts 151, 152 and a rotary part 122; a tip-side member 116 fixed to the rotary part 122; and a load compensation mechanism 118 that imparts a load in a direction opposite to the direction of a rotary load for rotating the rotary part 122 by the self-weight of the tip-side member 116 to the tip-side member 116. A main bearing 158 is arranged between the fixed parts 151, 152 and the rotary part 122 and at a position where the load compensation mechanism 118 is connected in the axial direction of the reducer 121. The load capacity of the main bearing 158 is set to the largest in those of all bearings 161 including the main bearing 158 and arranged between the fixed parts 151, 152 and the rotary part 122.
