<p>It is disclosed a tray (T) for housing optical fiber splices. The tray (T) comprises a splice holding area (A1) in turn comprising a number of splice holders. The number of splice holders is arranged according to a two-dimensional arrangement comprising at least a first column (C1) and a second column (C2). The first column (C1) comprises at least one first splice holder (SH11-SH81) and at least one first fiber passageway (FP11, FP21) suitable for housing a length of at least one first optical fiber (F3-F6, F11-F14) so that it bypasses the first column (C1). The second column (C2) comprises at least one second splice holder (SH12-SH82) and at least one second fiber passageway (FP12, F22) suitable for housing a length of at least one second optical fiber (F1-F2, F7-F10, F15-F16) so that it bypasses the second column (C2).</p> |
