PURPOSE: A camera actuator using a piezoelectric element is provided to be used in a camera in which a high resolution sensor is attached. CONSTITUTION: A lens holder is arranged inside the base member(10). A lens is place in the lens holder and driven along an optical axis direction. An operating body(40) drives the lens holder to the optical axis direction. A control unit controls the operating body. The operating body comprises a resonance unit, a first piezoelectric element(46), a second piezoelectric element(47), and a first and a second positive electrodes and ground electrodes. One end of the resonance unit is placed adjacent to the base member and the other end of the resonance unit is touched with the external circumference of the lens holder.
