A composition for enhancing blood ubiquinone concentration contains persimmon juice as an active ingredient. A medical composition for preventing or treating disease caused by smoking contains persimmon juice as an active ingredient. The persimmon juice is prepared by pulverizing-juicing, double boiling, steaming, hot water extraction, and high pressure extraction.</p>
