PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet configured so that a generator can be stably operated while being compactly built in a spout. SOLUTION: The automatic faucet includes a body 3 mounted on a base part 2, and a spout 6 provided inside the body 3 to discharge water supplied. The body 3 includes a water passage 10 which guides the supplied water to the spout 6, a generator 11 provided on the water passage 10, the generator generating power by passage of water through the inside, a solenoid valve which switches discharge water to be discharged through the spout 6 to the water carried to the inside of the generator 11 by opening/closing, a sensor 7 which detects a user, and a control unit 57 which controls the solenoid valve based on output from the sensor 7. A part of the body 3 is composed of a metallic body portion 3a in which the water passage on the upstream side of the generator 11 of the water passage 10 is formed, and the body portion 3a supports the side to which water inflows of the generator 11 through a seal member composed of an elastic material.
