PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease dirt sticking to a token passage while maintaining selection precision of regular tokens. SOLUTION: A token selector forming the token passage in the vertical direction includes: a side wall forming member forming one side wall of the token passage which circumference surfaces of passing tokens are abutted on; another side wall part forming the other side wall of the token passage which circumference surfaces of passing tokens are abutted on. The other side wall includes: a movable member which is provided so as to press the passing tokens to another side wall; a token detector in which a detection position is set at a position away from the another side wall part over a diameter of an irregular token that is as large as or smaller than the diameter of a regular token to detect passage of tokens; and a sorter which is placed on the downstream side of the movable member, changes a progress direction of passing tokens in accordance with a result of detection by the token detector, and sorts out regular tokens from irregular tokens.
