PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of token clog or erroneous detection of irregular tokens even when tokens are continuously charged. SOLUTION: A token selector includes: a token detector for detecting passage of tokens; a side wall forming member which circumference surfaces of passing tokens are abutted on and forms one side wall of the token passage; and a movable member which has an other side wall part which circumference surfaces of passing tokens are abutted on and has the other side wall freely rotatably provided so as to press passing tokens to one side wall. In the token detector, a detection position is set at a position away from the one side wall part over a diameter of an irregular token that is as large as or smaller than a diameter of a regular token. The movable member includes a separate part which proceeds to a passage regulation position between a passing token and a following token due to rotation of the movable member caused by tokens passing between the one side wall and the other side wall against pressure of the other side wall.
