PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor unit which performs press-fit fixing of a stator and can suppress fluctuations of the torque-holding characteristic and the cooling characteristic of a stator holder due to temperature. SOLUTION: The motor unit includes the stator holder 50 that has a rotor, an iron stator 21 arranged to cover a circumferential face of the rotor, an aluminum housing 11, in which the rotor and the stator are stored and a cylindrical part 51 engaged with a circumferential face of the stator; and projections 53, having undercut parts 55 to an external side in a radial direction, are formed on an outer circumferential face 51a of the cylindrical part, and the housing covering the circumferential face of the stator holder is stuck to outer faces of the projections which include the undercut parts and is coupled to the stator holder.
