The vehicle trailer (1) has a brake power regulator (9) i.e. electronic braking system-unit, adapting brake pressure in a pneumatic brake system (2) in dependence of a suspension condition of a hydraulic suspension system (3). A transformation unit (16) is separately designed from the power regulator and arranged in an upstream of the power regulator. The transformation unit converts hydraulic control pressure in the hydraulic suspension system into reduced pneumatic control pressure. The reduced pneumatic control pressure is supplied to control inputs (17, 18) of the brake power regulator.
