<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-generation control device for a vehicle that attains increase in the amount of power generation and avoids engine stall, when a power-generation voltage drops, and to provide a vehicle-generator control system. <P>SOLUTION: The power-generation control device 2 for a vehicle includes a voltage control circuit 206 for controlling an excitation current so that a power-generation voltage becomes a first set value; a gradual-excitation control circuit 208, that executes gradual-excitation control for gradually increasing the excitation current and inhibits gradual-excitation control, when the power-generation voltage becomes below a second set value lower than or equal to the first set value during the gradual-excitation control; a rotational-speed detecting circuit 211 for detecting the rotational-speed of an engine or of a vehicle generator 1; an excitation-current limit-value determining circuit 212 for determining the limiting value of the excitation current, on the basis of the detected rotational-speed detected; and an excitation-current limiting circuit 207 for limiting the excitation current so that is does not exceed the limiting value of the excitation current, when the power-generation voltage reaches or falls below the second set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
