PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control method for charging at the maximum power point, concerning a method for charging a secondary battery from renewable energy sources such as a solar battery. SOLUTION: The method and a charging device using the method are achieved, which performs direct current feedback control for the maximum power operating point constantly by synthesizing a characteristic curve similar to a generation power characteristic curve of a solar battery in a mapping manner from a voltage output and an output current conversion voltage of the solar battery, causing the intersection of an output voltage curve and a mapping curve of an output current conversion voltage curve to coincide with the vertex of the generation power characteristic curve for the feedback to a DCDC converter, and thereby deleting the time axis.
