PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of raw material and to improve the quality of gold molded articles. SOLUTION: A mold assembly for an injection molding machine includes a first mold part (31), a second mold part (32), a third mold part (33) and a fitting member (18). The first mold part includes a sprue bush (6) for inserting a nozzle (4) so that the nozzle inserted to the sprue bush pierces through the first mold part. The second mold part is formed so as to come into contact with and separate from one surface (20a) of the first mold part on the downstream side of a nozzle inserting direction (T). The second mold part includes a gate (15a) for introducing the raw material injected from the nozzle. The third mold part is formed so as to come into contact with and separate from one surface (20b) of the second mold part on the downstream side of the nozzle inserting direction (T). The third mold part works in conjunction with the second mold part so as to form a cavity communicating with the gate. The fitting member is attached to or removed from the downstream side of the nozzle inserting direction (T) of the first mold part for preventing the leakage of the raw material injected from the nozzle.
