The system (1) has a toilet ceramic (2) with an area (4) arranged over an odor barrier (6) and connected with a low pressure chamber (42) of a recessed cistern (16) over an overflow pipe (28). A rinsing valve (20) of the cistern is actuated by an actuating device e.g. pressure plate (36). A suction mechanism (46) is arranged at an outer wall (14), where the mechanism is in fluid connection with the low pressure chamber over a gap between the actuating device and the outer wall or over a gap within the area of the actuating device. The actuating device is sealed against the outer wall.
