<p>The bar (1) made of precious metal or alloy having precious metal, comprises a mass mB. The bar is divided in n x m small bars (2, 3) respectively with a given mass mK, where n, m is a natural number >= 2 and has a material connection between the direct neighboring small bars. The material connection has a predetermined breaking point. A carrier is attached on a lower side of the bar. The material connection is a part of a recess introduced into the bars, where the recess is formed on an upper side and another recess is formed opposite on a lower side.
