NI-PD REFORMING CATALYSTS FOR FUEL CELL AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for preparing nickel-palladium reforming catalysts for a fuel cell is provided to improve catalyst activity by enhancing dispersibility through effective dispersion of active metal and to economically produce hydrogen gas in a mild reaction condition. CONSTITUTION: A nickel-palladium reforming catalyst for a fuel cell comprises nickel powder and palladium metal, wherein nickel metal is fixed to a dry supporter in nickel powder. A method for preparing nickel-palladium reforming catalysts for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: fixing a nickel precursor solution to the dry supporter and sintering the resultant to prepare nickel powder; mixing and milling the nickel powder and the palladium precursor solution to prepare the slurry; and coating the slurry in a carrier, drying and sintering the coating material to preparing a catalyst.
