TRANSMISSION METHOD FOR DUAL TRANSMITTING ANTENNA ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING (OFDM) SIGNALS AND TRANSMISSION DEVICE THEREOF

A transmission method for dual transmitting antenna Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signals and a transmission device thereof are provided, the method comprises following steps: (1) adding pilot signals to space-time coded data blocks, and generating frequency domain OFDM signals on two transmitting links respectively; (2) carrying out inverse Fourier transforms on the frequency domain OFDM signals, and generating time domain OFDM signals; (3) the transmitting signals of two ways are transmitted through two transmitting antennas respectively at the same time after synchronization controlling. The transmission device comprises: a pilot adding module, an OFDM signals generating module and a synchronization controlling module. Using the method and the device thereof can realize a dual transmitting antenna OFDM system which is compatible with a single transmitting antenna OFDM system, meanwhile, the transmission efficiency of the system is not reduced, and the complexity of channel estimation is not increased obviously.
