DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FOREST MANAGEMENT BASED ON A HEURISTIC METHOD

PURPOSE: A forest management decision-making support system and method thereof which uses a heuristic method and capable of extracting an optimal forest industry target place through a heuristic method are provided to easily process an optimal business selection by applying a heuristic algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A forest database(700) offers forest information of a subject area about a particular business type. A user terminal(500) receives forest information from the forest database. The user terminal selects the kind of forest businesses based on the forest information. The user terminal derives an optimal target which optimally satisfies a certain target and a constraint condition according to a heuristic algorithm.
