<p>A cell search method and device are disclosed by the present application, which includes: a User Equipment (UE) searches for a primary synchronization signal; the UE has searched out one or more primary synchronization signal correlation peak value position and corresponding primary synchronization sequences, within a correlation search window; As far as an FDD UE is concerned, said FDD UE makes one of the primary synchronization signal correlation peak values the benchmark; and searches for a secondary synchronization signal correlation peak value according to the relative position relationship, between primary synchronization signal and secondary synchronization signal regulated by FDD protocol; As far as a TDD UE, the TDD UE makes one of the primary synchronization signal correlation peak values the benchmark, and searches for a secondary synchronization signal correlation peak value according to the relative position relationship between primary synchronization signal and secondary synchronization signal regulated by TDD protocol; If the secondary synchronization signal correlation peak value is searched out, then the initial cell search is finished, and a corresponding secondary synchronization signal sequence is recognized; otherwise, the next primary synchronization signal correlation peak value position is made the benchmark to search for a secondary synchronization signal correlation peak value, until the initial cell search is finished.</p> |
