<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit a high wiping effect, to reduce conduction resistance, and to promote reliability by forming a contact protrusion part protruding toward a normal line direction of a rolled face, through plastic deformation of a portion of a terminal consisting of a belt-shape metal plate in which both faces are rolled faces so as to be pushed toward a direction in parallel with the rolled face. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal is loaded on a connector, becomes conductive as it comes into contact with a counter-part terminal loaded on a counter-part connector when the connector is fitted to the counter-part connector. The terminal has: a cantilever shape contact arm part composed of a belt shape metal plate in which both faces are rolled faces having elasticity; and a contact part formed at a free end of the contact arm part to contact with the counter-part terminal. The contact part includes a contact protruding part protruding from one of the rolled faces toward the normal line direction of the rolled face, and the contact protruding part is a raised thickness portion formed by plastic deformation so as to press a portion of the metal plate toward a direction in parallel with the rolled face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
