<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device in which a lighting circuit unit can hardly be thermally destroyed. <P>SOLUTION: In a light source device 1 comprising a double-tube structure 20 including a light-emitting tube 10 and an inner tune 28 that hermetically seals the light-emitting tube 10, a lighting circuit unit 30 that lights the light-emitting tube 10, a heat shield plate 70 that is arranged between the double-tube structure 20 and the lighting circuit unit 30 and which prevents heat produced in the light-emitting tube 10 from reaching the lighting circuit unit 30, its configuration is such that a seal part 28a of the inner tube 28 is arranged in a position in opposition to the heat shield plate 70 with the light-emitting tube 10 sandwiched in between and when it is assumed that the shortest distance [mm] from a main surface 72 on the side of the lighting circuit unit 30 of the heat shield plate 70 to the double-tube structure 20 is L and the rated power [W] is P, a relationship of L≥0.005P+0.7 and 10≤P≤250 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
