EXHAUST GAS CLEANING CATALYST, EXHAUST GAS CLEANING FILTER, AND EXHAUST GAS CLEANING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst capable of combustion of PM at temperatures lower than 600°C so as to reduce power consumption of a heater arranged in a preceding stage of DPF, in a method of cleaning diesel exhaust gas.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning catalyst includes an aluminosilicate containing an alkali metal element. Since the alkali metal in the aluminosilicate has a high activity to combustion of PM2, the catalyst allows combustion of PM2 at temperatures lower than 600°C, resulting in the reduction of the power consumption of the heater 8 arranged in the preceding stage of an exhaust gas cleaning filter 7.
