<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating a cable enabling recovery of a metal part with a favorable yield, requiring little workload, and producing harmless remnants. <P>SOLUTION: The method of treating the cable is characterized in that a cut cable piece made by cutting a cable having an oil-containing insulator is incinerated in a state of standing in a substantially vertical direction with respect to an incineration chamber in an incinerator. An embodiment of incinerating a plurality of cut cables filled in an open container, a manner of incinerating them for one hour or longer at a temperature of 550-850°C, and a manner of incineration under an oxidative atmosphere are preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
