PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of retaining the fairness of a game, and capable of preventing a player from falsely recognizing the normal operation as malfunction. SOLUTION: When the setting is changed in an RT (2) state advantageous to the player who terminates the play by consuming a prescribed number of games, a probability for internal lotteries based on new set values is applied, but the RT (2) state before the change of setting is retained and the number of consumed games is also retained. When the setting is changed before the timing of termination of one game in the RT (2) state, the number of remaining RT games is updated. After the change of setting, the game suspended by the change of setting is not restarted but the counting is started from the number of remaining RT games. When a shooting stopping function is activated, the game state is controlled in a shooting stopped state only at the termination of a BB triggered by a special winning combination which requires the stopping operation while aiming at a target symbol, but not controlled in the shooting stopped state at the termination of a BB triggered by a special winning combination which does not require the stopping operation while aiming at a target symbol.
