PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a mobile terminal by suppressing a size while reducing frictional resistance of a rotary support mechanism. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal includes a rotary side casing and a rotary support mechanism for supporting the rotary side casing rotatably from the vertically long state to the horizontally long state or from the horizontally long state to the vertically long state. A guide plate 16 is provided in the rotary support mechanism, a first slide pin 11 and a second slide pin 12, which move by sliding with respect to the guide plate 16 in rotation, are linked to the rotary side casing. Further, a guide hole 13 for regulating sliding of the first slide pin 11 is formed on the guide plate 16 and the second slide pin 12 and a turning shaft 23 provided in the guide plate 16 are linked by a link member 14.
